Introduction

ACU is an accredited, private, non-profit, Christian university in Glendale, Arizona offering a wide variety of degrees preparing students for successful careers, while remaining committed to its vision of transforming culture with biblical truth. Students actively engage in biblically-integrated academics and gain a liberal arts foundation with critical thinking skills that last a lifetime. Spiritual development is also integrated within the University experience, where all four-year campus students receive a minor in Biblical Studies, attend chapel twice a week, and complete spiritual formation and service hours each semester.

With an average annual high of 80 degrees during the school year, you’ll always find students outside on our beautiful, tree-lined, and grassy 68-acre campus — playing frisbee, participating in athletics, doing homework, or expressing their musical talent.     Admissions Requirements

    Note: These requirements are for first-time college students

    • The student must be an evangelical believer in the Christian faith – this will be articulated in the personal essay of the application. You will describe your relationship with Christ and discuss your spiritual growth.
    • The student must achieve a cumulative unweighted 2.5 GPA.
    • (Optional) Send your official test score to ACU directly from the ACT website or the College Board website for SAT.

    How to Apply

    1. Complete and submit your application for admission which includes questions about your relationship with Jesus.
    2. Submit Official Transcripts. Submit official high school transcripts or GED scores.
    3. (Optional) Send your official test score to ACU directly from the ACT website or the College Board website for SAT.
    4. Once your application has been submitted, your Admissions Recruiter will contact you to discuss your next steps.

    International

    How to Apply

    1. Complete Application. Complete and submit your official online application for admission which includes the required essay.
    2. Submit a non-refundable $25 application fee. When you submit your online application, you will submit your application fee through the online portal.
    3. Submit an official transcript. Submit an official transcript All official transcripts must be mailed directly to our address
    4. Submit your TOEFL score
    5. Send your score to ACU directly from the organization.
    6. Confirmation. Confirm with your Recruiter/EMS that your official transcript has been received and complete any additional financial aid documents required.

    Requirements for International College Students

    • The student must be an evangelical believer in the Christian faith – this will be articulated in the personal essay of the application. You will describe your relationship with Christ and discuss your spiritual growth.
    • The student must have at least a 2.5 unweighted high school GPA.
    • The student must have at least a TOEFL score of at least 500 (paper), 173 (computer), or 61 (internet).
    • The student must have at least an 18 ACT Composite or Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math score of 860 SAT. (It should show 430 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 430 for Math = 860)
