The Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Engineering in Naval Machinery, known as the specialty of Machinery, trains professionals capable of operating, repairing, and maintaining in perfect working order all the machinery necessary for the propulsion of the ship, loading and unloading operations, as well as general services to onboard, in order to navigate from the production ports to the consumption ports and, perform all the operating operations of the main machine and auxiliary equipment, comply with international safety standards to safeguard human life at sea, protect the marine environment and prevent pollution.

This Bachelor's Degree prepares students for a career as Engineer Officers on board merchant ships, as well as easily allowing them to hold engineering positions, both on the operational, administrative, and maintenance side, in industries related to the production of electrical energy, naval repairs, among others.
