The Fashion Design Institute was founded in Düsseldorf in 2008 and is now one of the top schools in the world. A comprehensive program is offered here in which work technologies are taught and initial professional experience is collected and consolidated in the learning process. International fashion designers, fashion journalists & stylists, and fashion marketing managers are trained at the fashion school

The main task of the institute is to provide each student with a basic knowledge base, practical skills, and experience in working with experts from the fashion industry.

What do we expect from you?

Of course, we expect hard work from you, a love of fashion, imagination, the desire to develop yourself, and, above all, fun! Because in addition to learning and preparing for the fashion world, we never miss out on having fun! When you interact with the other students, you notice right from the start: We are the perfect fashion family for all fashion lovers.

To enroll at the Düsseldorf Fashion School, you must have at least a technical college or secondary school diploma. If you have particular artistic talent, a secondary school diploma is sufficient. The minimum age for applicants is 16 years.

To apply to the Fashion Design Institute, you must submit an application folder in addition to a tabular CV and relevant certificates. This must contain five papers. Whether these are drawings, collages, sculptures, illustrations, photographs, blogs or handmade, creative items is up to the applicant.

The application folder represents the applicant's business card, so to speak, and is a more decisive application criterion for the Düsseldorf Fashion School than the grades in a school leaving certificate. Anyone who wants to study fashion should have a high level of creativity, passion, and innovation.
