Bachelor Programs in Slovakia 2025

The main condition to graduate and to obtain the bachelor degree is to pass the state examination. Only students who submitted the bachelor thesis for the defence and successfully completed all the compulsory courses and mandatory selective courses can apply for the state examination. The bachelor thesis defence is the main part of the state examination. At FM CU the examination from the Management and from Economics and Finance is also part of the state exams at bachelor level.

Informatics (Computer Science) bachelor's degree study program is a key bachelor study program in computer science, information and communication technologies at TU of Košice. The program is aimed at the fundamental practical knowledge of the field.

Graduates of the programme Automotive Production Technologies are able to work in the automotive industry in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Graduates possess necessary knowledge in the area of technical materials used in automotive technology, automobile components inspection as well as final sub-assembly and assembly.

The education and training of students of the Bachelor study programme Automotive Production is aimed at gaining theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of advanced materials, technologies, and analytical tools in designing car components, organizing their production and assembly with the support of CAx technologies. 

The bachelor study program, Management, is accredited in the field of study - Management and provides theoretical and practical training for junior manager position.

As a bachelor's graduate, you can be employed directly in the investment construction of transport and ground constructions process as a construction manager or a construction production supervisor, in-state administration or construction-business companies.

The program focuses on patterns of behavior of biological systems under the influence of both exogenous and endogenous factors.

The graduate of the Bachelor programme “Business Economics and Management” is able to make use of the acquired knowledge in economics, quantitative methods, law, management and marketing. Their knowledge is extended in business planning, production management, international trade, financial analysis and entrepreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises.

All of our students graduate with a degree in Political Science, with concentrations in either International Relations, Central European Studies, or Political Thought. BISLA is also flexible in providing directed studies for students with specific interests and offers a range of extracurricular non-credited courses free of charge (e.g. foreign languages, presentation and argumentation skills, etc.)

The study program is accredited in the field of study 8.1.1 Tourism. It aims to train experts having relevant knowledge and expertise to locate, manage and organize activities in the tourism and hotel industry and gain sufficient knowledge to proceed to the master's degree.

The accredited bachelor program, Teacher Training in Practical Training, is oriented on teacher training, especially in the practical training of secondary vocational school students.

Having enrolled in the bachelor’s study program Architecture and Urban Design, you will acquire the basic theoretical and practical background necessary for the profession of an architect and obtain the corresponding knowledge, skills, and competencies. Graduating from the Architecture and Urban Design Study Program will provide you with the diploma that enables you to apply for further architectural studies and you will be entitled to cooperate on architectural and urban design projects under supervision in architecture studios in Europe and beyond. This certainly qualifies you to study architecture and/or urban planning at the Master's degree level at the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) as well as in related study programs at other European universities.

As a graduate of this program, you’ll receive a bachelor’s degree in the field of building construction. You can narrow down your focus thanks to a wide range of optional courses focused on building physics and CAD software.

Graduates of the chemistry study program are able to perform qualified technical work that occurs in various chemical, environmental and health research and operational facilities.

The BA program in Teaching of English Language and Literature and German Language and Literature takes 3 years and it allows students to improve their English and German language, to get acquainted with the English, American and German culture and to prepare for the profession of a teacher.
