The Faculty of Social Communications aims to train both scientifically competent communication professionals and sensitized men, ready to engage and integrate the message of the Gospel into the new culture created by the means of modern communication (…) with new languages, new techniques and new behaviors (cf. The basic training extends over two cycles: 3 years of graduat and 2 years of licence. The degree program in theology can be supplemented by that of the Aggregation of secondary education of the higher degree which authorizes the licensee to teach in secondary schools.

The basic studies are spread over five years, ie 3 years of license and 2 years of Master. The license program can be supplemented by that of the Aggregation of higher secondary education which authorizes the graduate in Philosophy to teach in secondary schools.

The Faculty of Sciences of the UCB exists since 2003 and had at the beginning only the Department of Computer Sciences. The opening of this Department responded at the time to an unprecedented need to provide greater Kivu and its surroundings with highly qualified university executives in the computer field. For several years, UCB's strategic managers have been aware of the dual need to gradually consolidate this Computer Science Department, the importance of which continues to grow, while diversifying the training offer in light of the Company's needs.
