The Psychology Department at Carson-Newman University seeks to provide an excellent undergraduate learning experience within a supportive Christian environment. The department is located in the Chambliss Building.

The Accounting major at Carson-Newman prepares students for a variety of career opportunities, including public accounting, industry, and government.

Students with a Finance major are prepared to manage investments, manage risk, budget, and obtain capital, and analyze real estate transactions. Graduates work in personal finance, business finance, and as entrepreneurs.

If you are interested in an industrial career or graduate study in biotechnology, you may choose to "double major" in both Biology and Chemistry or even Biochemistry. We have several courses in the areas of molecular biology including bioinformatics.

Choose this degree to enter the rapidly changing and growing fields of biochemistry and biotechnology—either immediately after college or before entering graduate school; it is also a popular degree for students who want to enter the medical and other health-related fields.
