We, the University of Applied Sciences Europe (UE) in Germany have been the very first institution to offer Film + Motion Design as a course of study. Our practice-oriented Film + Motion Design program teaches and tests basic methods, concepts, and techniques for the design of time-based media. From camera work and sound design to analog stop-motion animation, CGI, and 3D modeling to digital compositing, hybrid film, and visual music, the course offers a broad spectrum of possibilities for creative expression.

This BA course explores the many ways in which the cinematographer participates in the collaborative process of translating screenplays into meaningful and stimulating films. We work in pre-production, on set as well as on color correction as we believe in including the cinematographer on all stages of the filmmaking process. Exercises, workshops, and masterclasses with one of the most renowned names of Polish cinematography. Critical and analytical study of the history and development of cinematography gives our students a solid foundation in the art and craft of their future careers. The aim is to improve and expand the students' technical knowledge and skills using all of the above-mentioned methods of image capture. Cinematography graduates who complete their studies in Poland are in big demand in Europe as well as the North American continent, being hired for commercials, videos as well as big-budget productions.

The BA (Hons) Theatre Industry Practice is a hands-on, skills-led course designed for aspiring performers, producers, and technical theatre professionals. Created in response to industry demand, this program immerses students in a range of disciplines, from acting and directing to stage management, lighting, and set design. With expert-led training, live theatre productions, and specialized placements, students gain real-world experience to launch successful careers in the dynamic performing arts industry.

This BA (Honours) in Arts and Humanities (Music) degree gives you the freedom to combine the study of different subject areas in the arts and humanities. The Cinema, Television, & Emerging Media Studies also explores the history of national and international cinema, film production, African American cinema, and politics in Hollywood. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on screenwriting and students learn film and television history and culture, scriptwriting for film and television cinematic language, film production, film theory and criticism, African American film, classical Hollywood cinema, global cinema, and producing.
