The Faculty of Chemical Engineering enables students to study general chemical and chemical engineering disciplines that are applicable to a wide range of fields in science, chemical and biochemical technologies, and environmental protection issues.

The bachelors in Applied Geology study program is a technically focused geological field that includes all areas of geological research and exploration activities. Professional education is focused on the education of an operational geologist, for whom the scientific and technical basis will enable rapid professional adaptability to related and interdisciplinary fields.

This bachelor in textile technologies, materials and nanomaterials program aims to provide students with technical and specialized knowledge.

At the Faculty of Chemical Technology, students may focus their professional profiles towards specialized fields: the production and properties of metals, glass, or ceramic materials; plastics and rubber; biocompatible materials; and nano- or submicron-scale structured materials. Students can also focus on a more theoretical program exceeding the scope of the foundational program. During the course of the program, students choose one of three specializations offered.

Bachelors in Civil Engineering (Geotechnics and Underground Engineering) basic aim of the specialization study - Geotechnics and Underground Engineering is the complex education and training of specialists and the achievement of the level of bachelor education, which will ensure the effective use of acquired knowledge especially in the field of geotechnical, underground and mining construction, foundation engineering, but also in the field of environmental and energy geotechnics.

The Systematic Biology and Ecology degree programme is mainly focused on systematics and phylogenesis of plant and animal organisms and their ecology. Graduates gain necessary knowledge in general biological disciplines, e.g. cellular and molecular biology, the anatomy and morphology of plants, general zoology, systematics and phylogenesis of plants and animals, physiology and ecology of plants and animals, genetics and microbiology. The aim of practical activities in laboratories as well as field survey and experience is to extend students´ knowledge and to turn theoretical knowledge into practical applications.

The Toxicology and Analysis of Pollutants program is focused on broad spectrum knowledge of natural sciences with emphasis on practical skills useful for applications in control laboratories. Main study topics are chemistry and toxicology.

The aim of the Mathematics Bachelor's degree program is to prepare you to think autonomously, logically and critically, to abstract and mathematize real problems, solve the problems using mathematical methods and computer technology, and to interpret the results correctly. The study comprises the combination of pure mathematics based on mathematical theories and applied mathematics that is useful in many areas of life. You will look into trends in mathematical research, get to the heart of calculus, algebra, statistics, and number theory, and a wide door will be open for you to study applied mathematics including applied computer science, statistics, and data processing.

The study programme provides a complex education in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) and the use of these techniques for environmental protection and management, with a special focus on the current topics of water and drought in the landscape and protection of biodiversity under the condition of a global climate change.
