Our football coaching and performance degree has been designed to develop and enhance your current knowledge, reshape and update existing knowledge, and provide an in-depth exploration of sports science within the game.

This two-year Foundation Degree (with the option of a 3rd year top-up to BSc) provides a unique and innovative learning opportunity for you to learn and develop your coaching, football development, business and entrepreneurship skills whilst gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the football industry.

BA (Hons) in Football Coaching has a rapid growth of the football sector and has created many opportunities to become a sports professional in an expanding borderless industry. This course prepares you to work as a skilled coach across a range of football-related settings. On the course, you learn a range of coaching skills enabling you to deliver and plan training sessions relevant to team/player standards.

The course is delivered at University Centre Myerscough and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire. This degree has been designed to develop suitably trained and qualified graduates to gain rewarding and exciting careers in the football industry. The course focuses on developing the skills, coaching techniques, game analysis, conditioning and sports science knowledge necessary to improve football performance.
