The BA in Politics and Governance is a contemporary academic program combining a strong politics and governance core with a variety of choices including international relations, economics, and management. It is a curriculum aiming to prepare students for the more complex and interrelated world. No country or company is an island these days – they are all affected by political, societal, and economic trends, national and international policies, and governmental and non-governmental actors. The program equips students with a broad knowledge basis to prepare them for a future not just in the government or party politics, but also as knowledgeable and able actors in international organizations, the third sector, or even the private sector.

Liberal arts ideology comes from the era of antiquity. It is the idea that a free person must know certain things to be a good member of society. Tallinn University’s liberal arts in social sciences does not teach rhetoric or grammar but does give you all you need to know about social sciences. The program looks into various social sciences and teaches the student how to find common ground. Students can create their major via electives after the core courses have introduced the different social sciences. Assistant Pharmacist curriculum in English is unique in the Baltic Region and will be carried out for 3 years in a system of study cycles, including contact studies and mostly independent work and e-learning via Moodle and web-based seminars (e.g. Zoom). The contact studies period will vary between semesters, for example during I and II semester there will be 5 weeks and during III and IV semester there will be 3 weeks of contacts studies. The curriculum is focused on pharmacotherapy, pharmacology and phytotherapy with the aim to educate graduate pharmacy assistants who are ready to work in general pharmacies but are also able to work in pharmaceutical and health care companies.

The main responsibility of an electrical engineer is to comply with and monitor compliance with legal and standard requirements in order to ensure electrical safety and the correctness of installations. As the field develops rapidly, the corresponding engineers are in demand in both the domestic and foreign labor markets, both at the specialist and manager level.

The program is a classical law program that teaches the basics of law and covers legal theory, private law, public law, and with a specialization in EU law and international law. Based on personal interests, you can choose between many optional courses. Traditional branches of law like constitutional law, contract law, property law, criminal law, etc., are taught by comparative analysis of different states’ laws, with a strong emphasis on law and technology and law and business.
