The Judaic studies program offers students an interdisciplinary perspective on three millennia of Jewish culture: Jewish social, religious, and political history; Jewish literature — biblical, modern, and postmodern; Jewish thought; and modern Israel. The curriculum draws from both the humanities and the social sciences and covers a wide array of topics including modern Hebrew and Yiddish. Judaic studies majors can construct their areas of specialization within the major.

If you have a foundation degree in the Early Years and are employed in a setting, this course offers a work-based route to a BA (Hons) degree. You'll earn while you learn, combining academic study with work-based learning.

The Bachelor of Education in Early Years Education is a four-year program with focused learning and practicum experiences at the Kindergarten to Grade 3 level. Students in the BEd Early Years program gain a breadth of knowledge spanning a range of disciplines, as well as a speciality skills in foundational K - 3 teaching. The BEd Early Years leads to Alberta Teacher Certification.

Trevecca’s Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies offers an endorsement in elementary education and an endorsement in English as a second language (ESL), preparing students to be competent and compassionate teachers in grades K-5 and/or to offer ESL instruction in grades K-12.

The student will be able to consider problems from several different perspectives and develop and test his/her holistic understanding of an issue, evaluate how various disciplines would conceive of solutions, and relate his/her learning to issues outside of academia.

The option not leading to endorsement provides students with a multidisciplinary curriculum reflecting content areas and professional education coursework.

An interdisciplinary concentration across the College of Media and Entertainment, Interdisciplinary Media uses the college core and then provides students with options across the college in history, writing, technology, aesthetics, and digital literacy. Students choose an area of emphasis that reflects their professional interests.
