The Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences is based on the experience of leading European universities and is focused on preparing highly sought-after experts with professional qualifications, the ones most suitable to make a smooth transition to the modern-day job market. Our Psychology BA Programme was the most popular choice for students applying for the Faculty of Humanities, and the second most popular choice for future psychologists in Hungary in 2018 continuing a decade-long trend. In spite of the increasing enrolment figures, our Psychology BA Programme has preserved a familiar, friendly atmosphere and supportive personal relations between students and academic staff. Our university is supported by the Reformed Church in Hungary, but all majors at the Faculty of Humanities follow secular curricula set by the academic standards of the HAC (Hungarian Accreditation Committee). We aim at fostering cooperation and mutual responsibility among students thereby providing a protected community for productive studies.

Our degree focuses on child and adolescent development. You’ll gain the knowledge and expertise you need to work effectively with children and young people, including those with divergent needs. You’ll develop a deep understanding of children’s minds, emotions, and behaviors at different life stages, including those with divergent needs.

Why do people behave the way they do? How do our minds work? The key knowledge areas within psychology are all covered in the BSc (Hons) Psychology (BPS) course. You will learn the history of psychological theory as well as research methods, biological psychology, cognitive psychology, individual differences, developmental psychology and social psychology on one bachelor’s in psychology (Hons) course.

This dynamic programme offers advanced academic challenge levels and builds intellectual independence and research capacity in psychology principles and methodologies at a postgraduate level of study.
