Known as the learning lab for the 21st-century workplace, the Bachelor of Science in Management degree is a two-year, 90-credit program designed for those pursing management careers who have completed professional-technical associate degrees, that typically do not transfer to four-year universities.

Accountants are business professionals who work with others to identify, analyze and solve business problems. At Montana State, the Business – Accounting option is designed to help students develop the necessary technical expertise and broad-based business knowledge required for long-term success in careers such as auditing, assurance, tax consulting, corporate or non-profit accounting and finance, financial analysis, venture capital and financial planning.

The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Business Studies (BSIBS) provides the opportunity for mature adult learners to individualize their college education by co-designing an individualized degree program that includes the study of two business or business-related disciplines. Working closely with an advisor from the College of Business Administration, students in the on-campus and online interdisciplinary business studies degree track form a program of study in two business or business-related fields that most effectively support his or her desired goals.

The Family and Consumer Sciences program is tailored to educate individuals and citizens in our ever-changing society. Our courses and curricula are carefully designed to foster a scientific mindset and equip students with the research skills needed to address challenges impacting the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities.

This program caters to those who wish to join the business profession with a particular emphasis on understanding customers and their preferences. You will develop a broad understanding of business organizations and learn how businesses develop strategies, make decisions, allocate resources, and manage risks and uncertainties in this globally competitive business environment. Using real and simulated business scenarios, you will be exposed to the challenges of decision-making faced by businesses.
