We, the University of Applied Sciences Europe (UE) in Germany have been the very first institution to offer Film + Motion Design as a course of study. Our practice-oriented Film + Motion Design program teaches and tests basic methods, concepts, and techniques for the design of time-based media. From camera work and sound design to analog stop-motion animation, CGI, and 3D modeling to digital compositing, hybrid film, and visual music, the course offers a broad spectrum of possibilities for creative expression.

The BSc in Music, Media and Performance Technology is a programme that enables students to enter into the contemporary world of digital media, film, sound and interactive technology and performance. Students develop a wide range of skills and are given many opportunities to become proficient in areas of special interest. The programme provides a strong contextual understanding of culture and media and enables technical proficiency in the technologies of culture-making, including coding, cinematography and sound engineering.

The BMus (Hons) Commercial Music Technology focuses on the creation, development and delivery of commercial audio. As audio creators, we are reliant on technologies which afford us many creative careers. The course encourages you to research and explore these technologies and their contextual practice, understanding their history and relevance to future associated industries.

The B.A. in Audio Engineering at CSUDH is a hands-on, professionally-oriented program geared for students who want marketable job skills for careers in music recording, live sound reinforcement, audio post production, and sound design for film, television, and related media industries. Students produce, track, mix, and master their own recordings in the studio and on location.
