Trevecca’s Bachelor of Arts in theatre education is an interdisciplinary program that gives you the foundation you need to become an effective and engaging theatre teacher in grades 7-12. The program provides professional licensure and culminates with student teaching experience through our partnerships with local schools.

Trevecca’s Bachelor of Arts in studies in education is a program that provides a non-teaching alternative for students who do not complete the university’s student teaching requirement, who do not pass the required testing for admittance into the School of Education or who do not desire to pursue teaching licensure. This program prepares students for roles working with children where a teaching license is not required, such as substitute teaching, childcare centers, summer camps, and more.

Trevecca’s Bachelor of Arts in speech communication education is an interdisciplinary program that provides you with the foundation needed to become an effective and engaging speech communication and forensics teacher in grades 6-12. The program culminates with student teaching experience in local and diverse classroom settings.

Trevecca’s Bachelor of Arts in religious studies is a unique, double-major program designed for students who want to major in an area outside of religion but who believe that a classical education in Bible, biblical languages, theology, church history, and philosophy will supplement their future career or graduate studies goals.
