The Faculty of Jewish Studies at Bar-Ilan University is the largest and most varied of its kind in the world and includes nine departments in the different specialties within Jewish Studies. Because we're a freestanding program (not part of the History or English Departments), every course is designed to look at America from multiple angles. Our three-year BA American Studies course will give you a grounding in the history, culture, and literature of the US, from colonisation through to contemporary times. At Manchester, we train our students to be attentive to the counter-currents of US history and literature, and our course places a particular emphasis on the themes of race, capitalism, sexuality, the cultures of labour and political protest.

The program is offered by the School of English and American Studies. The program can be completed either as a major or a minor program, the latter is only available for students who study in other major programs at ELTE. Students taking the program as a major opt for either the English or the American track at the end of the first term. The three-year-long program does not provide teaching qualifications.

The program in English and American Studies was founded at our university in 1993.

By obtaining their BA in English and American Studies, students will possess a wide range of skills and knowledge a thorough understanding of the English language and of English-speaking peoples and cultures worldwide, a high level of competence in the English language meeting the competency requirements of both the Written and Oral parts of the Advanced Level State Proficiency Examination, familiarity with basic research- and study techniques within the field of English Studies, the ability to translate a variety of non-field-specific texts in an intelligent manner.

The Bachelor of Arts in International Relations: Political History of Central and Eastern Europe is a 3-year, internationally accredited program offering a modern and interdisciplinary education in international relations with a concentration in the political history of Central and Eastern Europe. You will earn a globally recognized American and European B.A. degree.

At Carleton, you can structure your BA according to what you want to achieve. You can pursue an intensive four-year Honors degree or a three-year General program. You can choose a minor subject to complement your major subject and you can, in certain cases, pursue a concentration or a specialization—a set of courses directed towards a designated area of expertise, such as African studies, anthropology, linguistics, etc.

First-cycle program (the equivalent of a BA program) in European Studies gives students core knowledge of European politics, culture, and society, whilst emphasizing Europe’s role in a wider global framework. Key concepts, such as culture, identity, diversity, democratic processes, Europeanisation, and globalization are discussed in an interdisciplinary manner.

BAES – BA in EUROPEAN STUDIES is a unique bachelor's degree jointly developed by eight leading European universities within the Una Europa - European University Alliance. This innovative degree program is distinctively designed with a multidisciplinary and multilinguistic approach, urging students to reflect on the role of Europe and European Integration and master research skills needed to analyze key issues related to Europe. BAES’s extensive mobility program aims not only to teach students about Europe but also to expose them to the lived experience of unique European environments and cultures.

The program is good choice for students interested in the history, civilization and culture of English speaking countries as well as the scientific investigation of the different areas - pronunciation, sentence structure, language varieties, language policy - of the English language.

A better knowledge of the European Union, and Ireland’s place within it, is more needed than ever before. An understanding of Europe requires knowledge of its historical origins, of its economic, legal and societal aspects, and of its political institutions. The BA in European Studies develops knowledge and understanding of all of these areas linking them with knowledge of the cultures and languages of key member states. The University of Limerick has long led the way in Ireland in this field, with the result that this degree is one of the longest established European Studies degree programmes in Europe.
