Objectives
To train physical activity and lifestyle specialists on the grounds of international level achievements in applied science and technology who would be able to apply the principles of educational consulting and health-promoting physical activity; ensure help in changing lifestyle and identity at the first, second and third prevention levels; work in rehabilitation institutions as healthy lifestyle educators (trainers) as well as in business sector.
Modules
All the PAL program modules are distributed within seven semesters:
Introductory semester. Introduction to teaching didactics & physical activity, public health, applied basic health sciences, behavioral change models, presentation & communication and project management are offered both in theoretical and practical ways.
Health Enhancing Physical Activity. Students will get to know Physical Activity programmes suitable for various stages of health and fitness levels of target groups.
Changing Behaviour. Students will study and practice basic counseling skills in order to help the clients to adapt to a long-term healthy lifestyle.
Nutrition. Students will learn about healthy nutrition, European cultural and policy differences in diet, diet-related health; also they will help the clients learn how to change eating habits.
Entrepreneurship. The focus is made on possible job scenarios and students’ abilities to deal with various work environments as well as on employment policy and strategy.
Basic University Studies and Internship. Students will study basic university subjects as well as have their internship. The study program internship covers 15 credits (duration – 3 months). Students will be able to choose places for an internship abroad.
An Integrated Final Project.
Competences
European Bachelor of Physical Activity and Lifestyle study is an interdisciplinary program. The competences of graduates overlap in Sports, Education, Psychology, Public Health, and Management areas. In this way, the programme provides a huge advantage to students compared to other similar study programmes.

Career Opportunities
The competencies developed will enable graduates to flexibly and quickly adapt to changes in the labor market, be employed as healthy lifestyle consultants in private or public companies or business establishments, private and municipal sports and fitness centers, spas, beauty centers, companies which arrange recreational activities, and rehabilitation institutions. The specialists will be able to engage in private activities, notably through the establishment of their own advisory or wellness businesses. After completion of the pedagogical and psychological course, specialists can be employed in formal and non-formal educational institutions (kindergartens, schools, and municipal public health education and care as well as childcare institutions).
General Admission Requirements
Online admission procedure for international students
Foreign nationals can be admitted into English taught programs of the Lithuanian Sports University if they provide the legalized secondary school, high school, or college certificate or diploma. Transcripts must be officially translated into English.
The recommended English language skills for degree students at the start of their study period are B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or corresponding IELTS (5.0), or TOEFL (55)*.
Legalization of Educational Documents
Applicants, who received their education in countries-members from the Hague 1961 Convention (e.g. Israel, Italy, India, United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Venezuela, etc.) should have an attached Apostille to their educational documents (in most countries the Apostille is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education.)
The education documents of applicants who received their education in any other country (Lebanon, Jordan, Philippines, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, etc.) should be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the diplomatic mission or consular post of the country where education was received.
Steps of admission to LSU:
Fill in and submit an online application form;
Apply for and submit the recognition document of foreign qualifications issued by SKVC;
Participate in SKYPE interview*;
Receive a letter of acceptance;
Apply for and receive a National D visa if needed;
Come to Lithuania and start your studies.
*Admission Board can invite the applicant for the interview on Skype, before taking a final decision on admission.
Note:
Admission Board will send the final decision in August 2-9,2021 on admission and informs the applicant by the Conditional letter of Acceptance;
