The Department of Biological Sciences is one of five natural science departments in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. We share complete or partial responsibility for four different undergraduate programs: B.S. with major in Biological Sciences, B.S. in Neuroscience, B.S. in Biochemistry, and B.S. with major in Integrated Health Studies. These are some of our university’s largest programs, with over 2500 students in total. We also offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biological Sciences, with an Interdepartmental Concentration in Neuroscience. We are currently composed of 30 tenure track faculty, 8 non-tenure track faculty, 17 staff, and 110 graduate students.
