N.I.S. offers students with the theoretical and practical parts for all areas of computer networks and information security. N.I.S. Focuses on giving students the skills needed to design develop and maintain wired and wireless computer networks. It provides students with all the tools needed to manage, design, install, configure and operate computer networks.
Also, N.I.S. gives students ability to understand the forensic requirements needed to prove an attack occurred, identify its origin, assess the extent of the damage or loss of information, and design strategies that ensure data can be recovered
Students of this program are able to use computer lab with different software such as: Visual Studio, Oracle, etc., and libraries and other facilities.
Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning methods adopted in this program include lectures, seminars, course projects, student presentations, and home works. All of these include modern technology facilities such as modern software, powerpoint, etc.
Coursework and Assessment
Assessment criteria include: Exams (first, second and final), course projects by using modern software, home works and presentations.
