Introduction
The bachelor's degree course alt = "Childhood education conveys knowledge in the early childhood education sector. Education and upbringing in childhood describe central tasks of our society. Based on the knowledge that the first years of life are crucial for human development and the requirements in the field of early childhood education have increased , the course contributes through its graduates to achieving quality increases in the early childhood education landscape.
The course was successfully accredited by the accreditation agency AHPGS in 2016.

The course is offered as a distance learning course with face-to-face events on approx. 12 Saturdays per semester at the nationwide study centers of DIPLOMA and can therefore be combined very well with a job and / or family commitments.
The study form is designed as "blended learning" and thus forms a coordinated combination of the study elements "Editing the study books", "interactively studying in a real or virtual lecture hall" and the passing of examinations in study centers close to the home.

Distance learning with real or online face-to-face events. Distance learning takes place alternating between self-study with study books and all-day Saturday seminars (approx. 12 Saturdays per semester) at one of our numerous nationwide study centers or online in the "virtual lecture hall" of the DIPLOMA online campus.
In the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th semester, a 100-day practical phase is planned for "State recognition as a childhood educator"; a credit for a professional activity parallel to studying in the field of early and old = "childhood education is possible.
admission requirements
The course of study alt = "Childhood Pedagogy (BA) is admitted if you have one of the following prerequisites: general higher education entrance qualification, advanced technical college entrance qualification, passed master's examination, completion of professional advancement training of at least 400 hours, a technical school or a vocational or administrative academy , final examination in a state Recognized apprenticeship with subsequent employment for at least 2 years and passing a separate university entrance examination (* in accordance with the ordinance on the access of professionally qualified people to universities in the state of Hesse) We will be happy to provide further information on special qualifications on request. For foreign degrees, equivalence for admission must be demonstrated.
