Introduction
The 1st Cycle Degree Course (Bachelor Degree) in Civil and Environmental Engineering is aimed at providing the knowledge and skills for designing and managing infrastructures pertinent to the civil engineering: buildings, transportation facilities, hydraulic and maritime structures. Furthermore, it has the objective of giving competencies in the context of soil protection planning and management, as well as in the design of facilities for environmental protection, involving air, water, and solid waste.
Due to the variety of the acquired competencies, graduate students can work in different working environments, such as companies working in the construction and management of buildings, facilities and infrastructures; companies focusing on the design aspects of the infrastructures; public and private companies that are involved in the design, planning, realization and management of: structures; systems dedicated to the control and monitoring of the environment and of the soil; structures for the soil protection and for the treatment of solid waste.
